Why Do You Need to Delete Old Backup Images?

No matter how safe your computer is, data backup is important; because computer failure always occurs. Step 1: Under “Backup”, you can choose file, system or partition to backup. Next choose file backup as an example.

Step 2: First name the task, and then select a file to backup, and choose a location to store the image, and click “Schedule Off” to backup automatically, and next start to backup.

Step 3: After you finish backup, it will come back to “Home”, then click” Advanced” to select “Properties”.

Step 4: Then click “Backup Scheme”, and there are two options. One is that you can set the period of deleting old images. That is to say, if you backup an incremental backup on Monday, and again create an incremental backup on Tuesday, the first incremental file backup will be deleted automatically on Tuesday with setting the period to be one day which old image files are deleted. Another is that you can set the number of deleting old image files. If you backup a file, and then create two incremental backups one day, the first incremental backup will be deleted if setting the previous one version of obsolete backup image file to be deleted after the next backup finishes. The default is that don’t delete the image file of the first backup during disk space management.
