Backup

In the home page, you can click “Create New Backup” to add new mission, then in the next screen you can see three options, which means three different ways of backing up. Disk backup is to backup hard disk drives to an image file; Partition Backup is to backup partitions or dynamic volumes; System Backup, on the other hand, is to one-click backup system drive.

All of the three options require choosing source disk/partition and destination disk/partition; you can easily finish this job by few clicks. Difference between the three options is that Partition Backup and System Backup is partial backup, while Disk Backup is entire backup. As automatic backup software, you just set the mission and let it do rest. Backup speed depends on the capacity of your files.

Restore

In the Restore Window, first you may choose the source backup and hit the target path. Meanwhile, “Restore” provides many functions like System Restore, Disk Restore, Partition or Volume Restore, Sector by Sector Restore and Edit Partitions. The first three functions are corresponding to the Backup options.

Clone

Two options list in this Window: Disk Clone and Partition or Volume Clone. Not disk/partition backup. Disk Clone is to clone hard drive from one to another, all data on the source one are cloned. That is to say, you got a duplication of the original one, which is quite useful to reinstall system or replace the old one with a larger capacity one.
