Centralized backup is a process that allows you to collect data from remote workstations and send it over a Network to a main (centralized) location for storage.
Centralized backup solutions have some vital advantages and benefits when implemented for the enterprise needs.
Your company's data is its most valuable resource. No one can suffer the data loss from user error and malicious intent, theft, natural disasters and system failures. Once an emergency happens, you can restore it to a normal state.
Saving time and energy and reducing a risk of human error
There is no need to for each user to backup computers, which will save much time to teach each user how to use the software or to perform a backup. Only an experienced administrator is needed to plan and make all operations. In this way, it can also significantly reduce a risk of loss or immature backup actions from unskilled users.
Flexible centralized backup management and reduce admin cost
Only one administrator is needed to perform centralized backup management. He can make a flexible backup plan according to overall needs. He can manage those backups intensively. Other users are not involved in this process, which will significantly reduce administration costs.
