Overview of Norton GoBack
Norton GoBack, previously WildFile GoBack, Adaptec GoBack, and Roxio GoBack, is a Windows-based file level disk recovery tool. This utility can monitor and record up to 8 GB of disk changes. In theory, GoBack will tag the status that none disk activity running as safe checkpoints and allows users to restore computer to any of these created checkpoints. Those checkpoints cover vary from hours to days. When installing GoBack, it will replace the Master Boot Record (MBR) as well as the partition table with a single partition. GoBack also uses a buffer space for storage of the change files with the First in, First out (FIFO) method.
