What is file backup?

How to backup files with AOMEI Backupper?

Step 1: Download AOMEI Backupper and start it on the computer.

Step 2: Choose “Backup” on the left; then choose file backup.

Step 3: Click “Add File” or “Add Folder” in the Step 1 column.

Step 4: Choose a file in the popup window. (for more files, repeat step3 and 4; for wrong choice, click “Delete”)

Step 5: Click “Step2” on the main interface and choose a destination.

Step 6: Click “Start Backup” on the lower right corner (the software will start to work).

Step 7:Click “Finish” when it finishes.

When the backup finishes, you can check out whether data have been backed up to your planed destination by going there. Still, you can check whether the image file is complete by checking image. Checking image can also find out errors in image files if there is one or two.

Besides the functions mentioned above, AOMEI Backupper standard has many other special settings. For example, if you want your files or disks to be backed up every certain period of time, instead of handing the same operation every time, you can set a schedule. Therefore, it will automatically backup the files or disks at a set time, daily, weekly or monthly without even start the software.
