The File Inclusion Mask can specify the files that you need to backup. Wildcards are supported and separate multiple masks with semi-colon(*.doc;*.xls;*.ppt ).

The File Exclusion Mask specify the files that you need to exclude. Wildcards are supported and separate multiple masks with semi-colon(*.temp;*.tmp;*.bak;*~*).

The Folder Exclusion Mask specify the folders that you need to exclude. Wildcards are supported and separate multiple masks with semi-colon(*.temp;temp*).

You can check the two boxes as you want. After all the settings, click “OK” to go back to the “File Backup” interface.

Note:

You can type the file extension you want to backup in File Inclusion Mask or type the file extension you do not want to backup in File/Folder Exclusion Mask. For example, if you only want to backup *.doc, or you don’t want to backup *.temp, just delete the words in the File Inclusion Mask/File Exclusion Mask bar and type the file extension.

Step3. Select a destination space to store the files. You can choose a local space, or backup to NAS. Click Schedule to setup an automatic backup with daily, weekly, monthly. You can setup incremental/differential backup here, too. Click “Start Backup” to launch the process.

When the process reaches 100%, click Finish to end up this process. Till now, you have already backup files with a certain file extension automatically.
