Stuck in Backtracker failed to create the factory default backup in your Asus notebooks? How to solve? Use AOMEI Backupper to create recovery disk to bypass Asus Backtracker failed to create the factory default backup in Windows 7/8/10.

The Problem

Last week I got my ASUS G751JT notebook, and all has been configured. As the notebook doesn’t have a recovery CD, so I tried to create a recovery disk with Asus Backtracker from the Asus website for my Windows 8.1. It detected my 32GB USB drive. Everything is fine until an error message appear when I try to create a backup after 5 minutes.

The error is stating that “Failed to create the factory default backup, failed to read or access the USB storage device. The backup image creation process stopped. Please ensure the following: Your ASUS notebook is connected to a power source and your USB storage device is working properly”.

If Backtracker failed to create the factory default backup, how could I create a backup for recovery? Thanks in advance for any help.
